Ozium comes in a spray can, it will KNOCK YOU OUT if you sit in the car and spray it like you would with window cleaner.
Ozium also comes in a gel bottle with vented lid, the suggestion is to park the car on a sunny day with the window open a crack to let the Oium do its magic and vent out the open car window.
Also, I throughly scrubbed the rugs with citrus cleaner (griots) and the headliner.....seats out, tried to get as much as I could scrubbed.
Don't overlook the dash vents, best to spray some citrus cleaner in there, and scrub....

I can highly recommend the Ozium car bomb and individual spray cans as I use in all my cars. 40 year old Porsches and 20 year old Land Rovers. Get compliments all the time about how "new" or good it smells in the cabin. I buy at local parts store and keep a can/bottle in the glove boxes...
Use Ozium and finish with the Mequiars New Car Scent -again, both found at local parts shops:
I do this about 1 time a year in all my older cars. When it wears off after a few days leaves things very pleasant.

When I detailed cars in college an ozone generator worked wonders. Follow instructions for sure - not dangerous but there was a process if memory serves.
Good Luck,
