I made a Viking battle ax today for my 17 year old Grandson. He's infatuated with knives, swords, etc. When we were in Toledo Spain I bought him an El Cid replica sword of very good quality. His mom wasn't so excited but Scott is a very responsible level headed kid so it's fine. I ordered this ax head on Amazon. Hand forged Damascus steel made in Pakistan. Super nice quality, those middle eastern guys have been expert metalurgists for eons. You may have seen the sledge hammer I posted before, I used the same Rosewood for this handle.
