Thanks Karl, very helpful. I did run the pump and just hooked up some fuel hose to the "OUT/Return" line into a gas tank and I did not detect any leaks. I pulled the vacuum hoses off of the regulator and damper and no fuel smell was detected. I would think if the diaphragm was torn there would have been fuel smell.
