This is in So. Carolina? Not sure which Bamboo varieties would thrive in your zone.
Bamboo is a great choice but you have to watch which varieties you choose. It's not rocket science (rocket - see what I did there?
) but important to understand before making decisions.
Quite a few other non-Bamboo choices....such as your Leland Cypress.
