I think it's a little quirky. I like to check the status from time of entry, check in, and shipment. I usually order over the wekend and if it's all checked in and shipped Moday I'll get it Friday in time for the next weekend. I'm really bummed when soehting doesn't make it. Last order I placed it never showed the order on my list so around Wednesday I e-mailed and asked. No response, but the next day the order showed up. One thing I have learned is to send very small items USPS. It's much cheaper and gets to me in 4 days instead of 5.
