You can drive this to the west coast and back 6 times it runs really amazing actually.
Only current needs:
BOTH driver side window regulators need to be replaced. Both passenger side windows work well. Drivers is locked in place to prevent it from falling.
Records in a folder dating back. Very solid car no funny noises nothing runs soft as butter and the smoothest M62 iv ever driven. All fender liners in nice tight shape. NO RUST. QUIET & SMOOTH healthy paint.Pulls like a horse on the open roads. Every single pixel is perfect at night never owned one with such a nice interior when the cabin is illuminated. Rear pillars only need the liners done and the front a little. Main board good.
This is my 4th E39 and 3rd 540i and I wish my other 540i cars felt like THIS one. Will regret the sale. Asking 8k and want this to go to an enthusiast.
