First time I've gotten a spoofed name/number. Today (
! Sunday !) I missed two back-to-back calls from (caller ID) 'Bank of America (800) 933-6262.' So yeah, I've been with 'em for 25 years, and only ever gotten a call from a local branch maybe twice, and their mortgage sales team (solicitors) in the early evening, so getting any call like this on a
Sunday tingles my Spidey-Sense™.
Sure enough,
Google sez it is indeed scammers.
Perhaps I would not have become so quickly suspicious if they'd called during banking hours.
