As for me, I had no idea the dual-clutch trans is an automatic and a standard melded together with computer sensors in each section.
Plus a computer in the car to sort it all out.
With a Valve body and all.
At 80K these seem to come dwn with problems . Sensors inside.
People are figuring these out, but a liability to contend with if it starts to act up
The internet is full of rumors, plus Porsche will tell you these are NOT repairable. (well they are if you are part genius I guess)
But Porsche just wants to sell you a new PDK, for 20 or 30 grand.
So I am here trying to sort out If wanting to own such a car with PDK is a good idea...If living in a Ca maybe, as there is a lot more shops and experiences to draw from.
Scary.
Tomorrow is a new day and someone may have a better idea.
