One scam call I kind of enjoy is the "Grandpa" scam...a caller saying he or she is my grandson or granddaughter. Always a tale of woe..usually a car wreck resulting in arrest. I give lots of concern & sympathy...wasting as much of the scammer's time as possible. Then I tell them that my daughter had no children, so I'm puzzled...... Gosh! I got one of those calls. My grandson was supposedly arrested in Mexico. I asked a lot of questions and kept him on the line for a while until I got bored. Then I told him the no good punk can just rot in jail. And I hung up. As I have no kids, I am pretty sure I don't have nay grandkids.
