I wear a cap when I drive my wife's Miata, but when in a coupe, it's not really necessary - there's no "wind" inside a coupe.

When I'm on my motorcycles, I wear a helmet, so that's no cap.

I suspect people wear caps inside a coupe for the same reason my 10 year old wears a cap (and he has lots of hair), and that's to be "Looking Good". It's all part of finding your own personal style, instead of copying what "they" do. It's the same reason Harleys are so popular nowadays, the "looking Good" syndrome. Anyone who really wanted to ride a bike well would not be on a Harley, and thus not "looking Good".

But then, if you really loved driving your 911 or your bike, you wouldn't need the approval of others.

Cheers!!!
