Hmmm, never considered that the auto stop would damage the turbo…I defeated it at first because I thought it was annoying but then realized that it actually gets better mpg with it on, especially doing Uber, which of course is a lot of stop and go and waiting outside of hotels, etc.

Now that I’m used to it, I don’t mind it. I drive the car pretty easy and I assume that the potential damage is from lack of cooling oil passing through the turbo?

I agree about upping the service intervals, they are way too long for that engine.
