Springtime ritual I do every year is drain and fill the Hot Tub with a change of water.
Hint Hint: It got down to 17-20F for about a week during last winter.
Went to use my cast iron transfer pump and got a free shower and shoe washing.
Don't know the wall thickness of the cast iron material, but it had an 8" long crack going around 3/4 of the base with deformation up to 1/8".
JB Weld to the rescue. Looking forward to next winter, bring it on......
