The Glycine was a gift and I love it for the engineering involved in a mechanical watch and the fact that it's a 24 hour watch.
AND an Apple Watch on the other hand which I wear because it tells me when I have texts or calls and can be used for alarms and timers. Since I have the watch, I keep my phone set to silent nearly 100% of the time.

I just sold my Glycine Airman Base 22. Same as yours but a white dial. Really cool watch but I just never wore it because I didn't want to scratch it

I've sold off all of my vintage automatics/mechanicals and now collect various micro brand watches. There's so much high-quality stuff out there for a fraction of the price of the vintage mechanical stuff. I mainly look for watches with the Seiko Meca-quartz movement (the sweep second hand is smooth like a mechanical). Set it and forget it!
