Bag numero deux done!
Bag numero uno was a success! I made it with eyelets to mount directly to the fork. So I did. 50 mile shakedown ride was great. I got shook. The bag held up.
Last night Elissa and her family was on my mind. Got home after work and cranked out a second bag. Got it mounted today (the one on the bars) and now I'm mocking up a frame pack.
I also hard mounted the rear seatpack with a solid mount. No flexing of the sac. Muy importante.
I ordered $200 more dollars of waxed cotton and could make the MASH "swamp" with all I've got coming. All I can say, is I'm currently in my sac phase!
The mockup clears the bottles. I will make the framepack this weekend, and perhaps a second fork pack for the left fork side. Total bikepacking rig, which is ridiculous, cause I'm just gonna whip out the credit card and hop in a hotel shower
