HISTORIC EARLY DAYS / OKLAHOMA CITY, OK / STREET SCENES / STREET CARS: FIRST STREET CAR - This picture shows the first street car to run in Oklahoma City. It was submitted by Mrs. G. O. Amburn. The picture was taken on Main Street. Then the street cars were owned by the Metropolitan Railway Co. Anton Classen was president and John W. Shartel was vice-president.
