With bald eagles, the word "magnificent" comes to mind.

There is a local guy who manages bird of prey populations around airports. Birds and jet engines do not get along, but these birds stay out of the flight path, teach their kids to do the same, and they eat the pigeons and seagulls and chase the rest away.
