Have cut way back on my drinking lately...but still allow myself a bit of slack when here or there with friends and family, and/or vacationing. These goodies can include:
Beer - still exploring IPA's (I know...I know...)
Vino - Different reds (Merlot's, chiantis, piniot noirs, etc.) Whites tend towards chardonnays for spring and fall (or with Lobster anytime!), sauvignon blanc (from New Zealand is best), etc.
Stronger stuff: Bulleit and Laphroaig are two of my "go-to's." Good mescal when I can find it, and small snifter of Grand Mariner with chocolaty desserts.
Mixed: Manhattans (actually "East Rivers," as they include both sweet and dry vermouths), Negronis, and I'm a real sucker for a tall G+T when the weather heats up...Just Gordon's and Schweppes do fine, thank you...with a good twist of lime!
Oh...and a good hit of Myers's Dark (rum), all by itself, as a "by the crackling fire" alternate to Laphroaig or Bulleit.
Jeesh...did I say I was cutting back?
