The foam uses enzymes to loosen dirt. It just about floats away when you rinse. Great for light abrasive type dirt and even better for organic deposits on the paint. The PW rinse is part of the system and if you have ionized water for a rinse you can just drive away to dry.
It's a day to day or week to week thing but does not substitute for proper surface cleaning meaning clay bar, polish and wax on a periodical basis.
