Ugh, we bought the missus a vehicle back about 3-4 years ago. Based on recommendations here, we test drove a highlander. Neither the missus or I liked it, I'm sure for different reasons. But like you said, super snoozy, to say the least.
Maybe a 6cyl version would be better.
