I started working at the Kia plant in West Point, Georgia in April of 2011and I remember shortly after there were cicadas everywhere. The land that the plant was built on used to be farmland, so I figured the cicadas were there before the plant was. I had seen cicadas before, and I remember collecting their molting shells when I was a kid, but I had never seen cicadas like these before. They were dark in color and had red eyes. Those things would get into everything around the plant, and we would even find them in the locker room in the paint shop. Creepy buggers!!!
