Since you've all been on the edge of your seats wondering about my dead battery- AN UPDATE!
Still dead. Yesterday, 10volts and no charge. Today 10 volts, a burning hot battery, and no charge. Disconnected battery. Took THREE hours to cool off. Must have chernobylite inside. Glad it didn't blow up.
Other than being relieved the warp core didn't explode, I always get a little pissy when a battery goes kaput- until I saw the mfr date- 2012.
New battery installed. Started on first turnover.
Please admire my 23hp twin repower with remote oil filter, oil cooler shrouding, rear mounted exhaust, and custom fuel pump setup.


You can almost see the cramped arse engine bay of a 944 turbo as inspiration looking at this.- I find my routing of oil and gas lines quite sexy- Only a p-car owner would overcomplicate it like that!
