I've been working on the Snark. I repaired the missing strip of veneer on the rudder by filling in the gap with some clear epoxy and then decided to paint the rudder blade and the daggerboard gloss black. Today I masked off the "mast seat" and painted it gloss black also to match the rudder and daggerboard. I put a small beach umbrella in the mast sleeve to provide a little shade.
