The sacrilege is over, and I am all out of love for Lotus.
I have been researching the Evora and Emira and found out this.
The rear clamshell does not tilt up like GT40!!
To get at the* transverse engine. It has to be taken apart in pieces.!!
So according to the tube channel I was watching, a clutch job became a 30-hour sojourn into crazy land .
Where time is not of the essence, but Peter Pan and Tink live.
Really atrocious engineering.

If this time frame is even half of that, and pulling the body apart is ..this car is not for me.
The liabilities for paint damage become enormous.

*to work on the engine transmission, is pretty much a trip into the land of insanity. There is no room to drop it out from below.
Pretty stupid.
The thing is in there sideways, (transverse ) so one head is nowhere to be found on the V6.
IDK if an H20 pump requires this much of disassembly,,,, but it all makes the Cayman look pretty forgiving.
For sure Jimmy Clark's Lotus was not so cobbled up.
Leave it to the Brits.
MG
Jag a U A wire
Lucus Electric (Prince of Darkness )
PS
If you do it yourselfers find this write up wrong, please do correct it and me.
