IMS bearing does not need to be replaced, it's one of the 90% of these cars that didn't have a problem. The engine's been out twice sense I owned the car and the IMS was checked both times. A lot of shops made a lot of money chicken littling the IMS bearing issue IMO. Changing out a good bearing can cause problems or leaks, don't go looking for trouble.
I would think that the mods I have done would help resale, not hurt it. All are easily reversible as well. This was the first water cooled Porsche I've ever owned, great candidate!
