Yeah, that’s a sweat cayman. I Sold my GR 996 C4S and bought a 99 base Tip and a 02 S 986 6 speed with $15k left over. I had an S before the 996 and really didn’t notice much of a performance difference. The base yes, the S not so much. Don’t sweat the hairdresser comments. I just think “insecure much”. 😀😀😀. My bud has a 99 with stick, slow but really, really engaging. Can’t go wrong with either. It’s really just a better quality, more comfortable, but heavier Miata of the same generation.
