I had a 1972 911, then a 1986 911 that I had for over 10 years. When I still had the ‘86 911, I bought a 2000 Boxster on a whim. It was a base model, lapis blue. Six months into ownership of that Boxster, I sold the 911. I then moved up to a 2004 Boxster S. Also lapis blue. The biggest reason was it had a glass rear window. I would never go back to an air cooled 911 as the Boxster just does everything better.
