The parts are made from a very high quality resin with very good UV resistance. The manufacturer states it's perfectly fine for regular outdoor use.
That said, there are good reasons to clear coat (or better yet, paint!) a part like this, direct from the mold with no gelcoat... not matter how good the surface there will always be minute imperfections and slight weave texture from the cloth that can be filled/smoothed in the process, further improving the quality of the part.
I'm not planning to ever make parts intended for "bare carbon" finish but there is something mesmerizing about the weave of the cloth... I think on a classic 911 a good compromise will be to paint the exterior surfaces, but leave the inner fabric exposed. Often this will be a peel ply finish (seen through the cutouts in this sunroof panel) but also bare carbon that will be fine without any coating.
