Most experience drivers do the PCH traffic circle (what they call them here) pretty well. You do get some drivers that think they are flying a plane and need a 1000 feet separation. And then there are those that just take side streets to avoid the circle. There is an 'outer' circle with traffic lights, but it does not encircle the entire inner circle.
That English one would not make it here. It makes perfect sense from overhead, but drivers entering that from a driver's POV would freak the f**k out seeing other cars going in two directions. Drivers here are not smart enough to understand that.
