I don't have that much experience with Targas given that I've owned mine for about 3 weeks now, but given past experiences with various convertibles, I don't find that number to be too shocking. Heck, I had a mustang that would pop a door loose under hard acceleration or going across train tracks until I welded in box tubing subframe reinforcements. If I have time this weekend I might try to quantify mine just out of sick curiosity.
Also - looks like quite a few Targas in VA judging by the last few posts.
