We had a great time at the winging party. All of the wingers throw in $200 bucks each for an open bar at a place of their choice. We went to The Gold Fish Bar. I felt sorry for the bar tenders. They were running! No pictures of that.

The winging ceremony was good. A couple of our neighbors made the trip to see her wing. The Kim family also came. So nice to see them too. That made it even more special.
Prior to winging, we went on base and got the grand tour of the simulators. What a trip those are! We also went onto the flight line and got the skinny on the T44 trainer. I still am trying to wrap my head around the fact that my kid is actually a Naval Aviator.
Tim (Emma's husband) brought some cool patches for their flight suits - Rider (NFO) and Driver (Pilot).
The pictures here are the cell photos. I may post some of the professional photos when they come out.
