Some guys say a of things, including around here. If the convertible or targa is lifted correctly in four places, it will be cradled perfectly. If we're talking Porsches, they are pretty stiff. "Some" are also wrong about shocks, unless the lower mounting points, (control arms), are disconnected from the vehicle and hanging on them.
