We have plenty of squirrels in the area. Several oak trees with lots of acorns, and we find pecans planted by squirrels in the yard and gardens. I don't even know where the nearest pecan tree is.
We have a lot of crows that must patrol the local fast food places and we find pieces of bread that they "stash" in the birdbath making a gross mess.
We have the possibility of thunderstorms tonight and possible hail. The master gardener is waiting for that hail possibility to pass before she starts putting flower is the ground. Our kitchen table and back porch are loaded with plants to be planted.
