It is hard to believe service was suspended almost 20 years ago. I was lucky to watch a Concord take off from Heathrow. The climb out was breath taking.
For years we used to hear a rumble like distant thunder on Sunday mornings just before 10 o'clock. Finally I got the idea to check the Concord schedule to New York. The amazing part was realizing we were hearing the sonic boom from an aircraft passing 30 miles off the coast of Nova Scotia, a total of 80 miles away!
