Being a 2024 and then straight to the build. He has climbed back up from where he was a bit over 5 years ago, when he started over after a nasty divorce. Lifelong friend, when he moved back to Florida, to start over, the job he had lined up, so he could get back to paying the child support, which the Ex knew was why he came down, living in a small apartment, no cable or internet, had his drivers license revoke because he was behind, knowing full well, that without it, he couldn't get the job he came down for. So I helped him out, drove him to job interviews, and he literally started back at the bottom, and did what he had too until he could get a better job, and I took him to the interview to the company that he is with, and in that time he has worked his way up, a level at a time, staying the top producer as his territory grew, and so on until they moved him to corporate headquarters. So when I hear someone say life isn't fair, and I mentioned it here a few times, about him being literally rock bottom and working his way back.
Now, he has been successful at just about everything (except marriage) that he has done. From motorcycle racing, to at least 3 different careers in totally different fields.
