After watching the video of the broken head removal, all I could say was
WOW! It is an incredible and amazing technique. Your title says broken head studs removal with engine in situ, that is not the case. But it should not deflect the credit and honor for this remarkable achievement.
However, as an engine rebuilder, engine removal is our way of life. And I tend to agree with Ivan about using this method versus the conventional procedure. Only time will tell us how practical and successful this could be done as well as Brian demonstrated.
