Kroil comes in pressurized cans too. I use WD but I keep a can of PB Blaster around for penetrating. The PB can lost pressure just like a can of WD. There are ways to recharge on YT.

Heat and paraffin works. Heat works with lots of products. I don't use WD except to clean and displace water as it was designed. I use some kind of oil or other lubricant to oil things. I use automotive grade silicone on vinyl windows and other places that I don't want to get oily or dirty.

I use WD on my metal lathe and then oil it with 3 different types of lube as recommended by South Bend.
