I use it in the shop and everything else that requires a thicker oil and its sticky unlike oil which will run. We also use 3M 5 way penetrating oil https://www.electricsupplyinc.com/index.jsp?path=product&title=3m-5-way-penetrant&part=70305. or my favorite, 3 in1 with the long drip nozzle to get oil where I really need it. Tryflow is another oil I like for chains and such.
