If you drove by the local high school several years back you would see a lot of classic American cars as student rides. I'm talking tri-5 Chevys and other cars and coffee kinds of cars. A good share of old air cooled VW's as well. Of course there were the Honda's and that ilk but not much riced up influence going on.
It was pretty cool to see teenagers in American Graffiti cars. IDK if this is still a thing.

I went to high school in Huntington Beach 1969-73 LOTS of cool cars there!! My first apt. was 2 blocks from the beach $180 a month
