We did the engine drop and replaced the clutch disc. There was a minor problem with the pressure he brought but I had a spare one. We switched it and completed the installation. He drove home and never saw the fellow again! Several months went by without hearing a word from him until one day a mail arrived with a $200 gift certificate to a very nice steak house in King of Prussia. I was thinking this was too much ($200).
I took my wife with me and ordered steaks, with salad for her and soup for me. No wine, no drinks (just cold water), no desert and the bill including tips was almost $200! Had we ordered a complete dinner with salad and soup plus desert and coffee, I can’t imagine the total bill would be. That was the last time I’ve been near that steak house.
The steak was good, the service was elegant, but this was not my cup of tea. Thanks for the dinner.
