This morning I filled the tank off my Euro RC15 with Evaporust. All the way to the tippy top. Took like 5 1/2 gallons. This is the same tank I was treating with electrolysis a couple months back. I was never satisfied with the electrolysis so going to try this method.

The plan is to get this tank in proper condition and put back on the Euro.....which it was on originally.....and then take the tank off the Euro, which is in great condition, and put it on my '84...now that it's ready for the road again.

I ended up buying a 5 gallon bucket of the Evaporust. I already had 2 1/2 gallons of it, so started off pouring those in the tank. Then using a battery operated transfer pump re-filled the gallon jugs up from the bucket to pour into the tank until I got her filled up all the way. Now the bucket is empty and I have the balance of ER in the two gallons jugs to save for future needs. I will leave the ER in the tank until Thursday morning and then using the transfer pump, pump it into the next fuel tank. I have 2 more to do after this one. When those 2 tanks are done I will pump it back into the 5 gal. bucket.

I also put a new petcock on her and a new sender.

A few pics from today......
