Just finished having a new metal roof installed. Old roof was three foot wide panels with exposed screws. New roof panels are standing seam with one foot wide panels. Screws are covered. I went this route because I’m too old to get up on the roof and tighten screws. New roof makes a lot of noise expanding and contracting. My wife wasn’t happy but it’s too late now and we will get used to it. New gutters with gutter guards that I didn’t have before and snow guards to keep the snow from tearing off the gutters. Glad it’s over as it took the contractor almost three weeks to finish.
