Yes, which is why I chose this color, although some are of the opinion (and told me so) that color doesn't matter. That's fine. You do you - I'll do me.
The old roof was asphalt shingles. I have an attic - not very high - but it's there. Temps used to get way up there - now they are much less. I know this from my wireless indoor outdoor thermometer w/ it's 3 remotes. I keep one in the garage, one in the attic, and one just outside the front door.
I don't know why Bugs is experiencing noises - mine's been great and has helped reduce my electric bill!
