Just an old can of aerosol spray electrical contact cleaner I had on hand and I just sprayed it into the front of the switch on either side of the rocker as I worked the rocker of the switch a few times shook it a few times what's left will evaporate in seconds. Clean the spade terminals with a piece of scotch bright check the spade connectors of the switch are a tight fit into the back of the switch put it back in the door worked like a champ. No need to take the switch apart, and even if you did it might be difficult to reassemble.
