OK - all fairings are back on now and everything went OK. I wasn't the one who removed the fairings - but the seller who did, left me with all the appropriate hardware in a big baggie, thankfully. Wasn't hard to figure out but a couple times I did go take a look at my '83 Euro which I still have parked here at my house.

What I really like is how I added to my knowledge of this bike today. So next time I can dive right in without hesitation for any kind of repair or service work. That's the best part right there. Because WE KNOW there will be more work to do - there always is!

For this bike it will be bringing the fairings back into OEM specs.

This is the '84 VF750F Interceptor I bought a couple months ago that came without a fuel tank. It was bought by someone else the day before I was going to look at it, so I missed out. Then that person took all the fairings off and repainted them white in preparation to bring it back to OEM specs. That never happened and I was able to buy the bike.

I had to go through the fuel system, rebuild the carbs, rebuild the rear brake caliper, install a new battery, and a fuel tank.

Yesterday I removed the fuel tank from the '83 Euro and installed it on this bike, which had been running on a fuel bottle to date, just for test run purposes.

The '83 Euro got it's original tank reinstalled yesterday, after getting an Evaporust treatment this past week.

BTW....the tank on this '84 came from eBay and was in good enough condition to use straight away.

The bike features a twin Kerker exhaust system and rear fender eliminator by Competition Werkes.

Yeah I know - the idle is a little high - I turned it down a tad after I shot the video.
