It’s not likely that this will be an honest fight… more of a payday.
Age is very deceptive. When a young man puts out 100%, he might run a 5:00 minute mile. When that same man puts out 100% at 58, he might run a 7:00 minute mile. Meanwhile, he thinks he’s churning and burning same as he always did, until he looks at his time, or gets passed by a 26 year old at what seems like an unsustainable, impossible pace. But they do sustain it. And they’re ready to do it again after like 90 seconds. It sucks.

IF (big if) this was a real fight, I’d give Mike the advantage for the first round. If you’ve ever boxed, 3 minutes is an eternity and fatiguing almost beyond comparison. Mike could certainly put him down, but after that one round, Mike is quickly fading while the kid practically respawns in between rounds. Even if Mike really keeps his powder dry, that disadvantage grows every minute.
