In order to operate the heat:
1. Pull one or both red levers up. (These are variable-the more you pull up, the more fan speed is applied)
2. Use the horizontal red lever to direct the heat either up, down, or in between.
3. Use the red rotary dial to boost the heat volume. The rotary dial only works if one or both red levers are up
