All is a matter of personal taste. I liked the original wheels as the Fuchs style paddles look stretched. I also think tinting other than factory looks bad. I think that fad is over. For folks in really sunny hot areas there is window coating that does the job w/o the dye.

I'm still a big fan of the C4 but ones I saw didn't have a wing. Clean lines as I previously mentioned. The whole 996 line up needed those rear fenders. The only one that gets my 2nd look is a 996 cab; something about the top line helps the weak rear quarters.

Your car, enjoy. Glad you got it running with no drama. Do analyze the oil at 2000 miles if the IMS hasn't been done. You might have done that with the old oil. If you haven't recycled it yet, hang on to some and send it to Blackstone. Cheapest thing you can do on an M96 engine.
