87 Targa 3.2 G50. When I started it for first time this spring, my oil temp gauge is pegged at the top (in the orange). Been searching on-line, found where gauge isn't working at all, but haven't seen where pegged from start up. Let it run about 10 mins, restart no change. Pulled wire from sending unit, cleaned it, put it back on and same issue.

Guessing ordering a new sending unit is best option, but thought I would see if anyone else had other thoughts??
