I use a battery operated transfer pump and pump it into a 5 gal. bucket.
Then a series of wash out including using my power washer to blast as much inside as possible. Then a hair dryer to dry the inside. Then I'll fill it up with 2 cycle gas mixture and let sit for another week.
This Evaporust is good stuff!

To dry out a tank rip up a blue shop rag and blow in it with an air gun. The rag pieces flop around like crazy and dry everywhere
