Bah! But for a few varieties, clarity has always been the goal for most every beer for a century. The recent hazy trend seems to have normalized it for giggles and profit - as if failing to get a good floc is covered by "Yeah, I meant to do that."
Zero-bittering dry hopping is undeniably tasty. can we just get away from canned and foamy miso soup?
Regarding "summer" beers, punchdrink.com writes that the growth in zero/NA beers (a good thing) seems to be cannibalizing the market for truly drinkable (4-5% abv) suds. That ales in the 6+% range get called "sessionable" is just silly if you're of normal size or want to drive. We even need more flavorful beers in the 3-4% abv range!
Two Hearted is awesome though but I guess the lighter Something-Hearted is going out of production. We get Founders here so I'll have to try the little one sooner than later.
